The Accelerated Master of Business Administration Program (part-time) enables students to pursue their own dreams of business and make the most of their talents. Business means different things to different people, and your goals are personal. You may find success in a boardroom or design studio; in an entrepreneurial venture or international trade; in the private sector, government, or not-for-profit sector. The Accelerated MBA Program recognizes diversity and, most importantly, respects your individuality. This is accomplished through flexibility in course selection. An open and flexible atmosphere of academic excellence and practical experience characterizes the GW MBA Program.
The Accelerated MBA Program is designed for individuals who work on a full-time basis and who appreciate the advantages of applying what they learn in the classroom to their profession. The Accleerated option blends the ability to continue full-time employment while pursuing an MBA in as short a time period as little as 21 months. In addition, the length and composition of the program may be modified with waivers and/or transfers of credit, depending on one's prior academic background.

The Accelerated MBA is a popular format for students who want to earn their MBA in 2 years while working full-time. Students stay together in a cohort, or group, for one full year, enrolled in the core courses that total 34.5 of the required 52.5 credits for graduation. Core courses include Organizations & Leadership, Business Ethics, Global Perspectives and Business & Public Policy. Upon completion of the core curriculum, students choose elective courses.
