Graduate Degrees Graduate Programs School in Virginia, and Washington DC



This Master's degree program enables professional who are employed full-time to pursue master-level study on weekends in an intense, focused environment in cohort style - alongside like-minded professionals.
  • 12-course (36-credit-hour) program
  • Classes meet every Saturday in nine week long sessions at GW's Graduate Education Center, Arlington
  • Two classes will meet each session, from 8:30am to 11:50am and from 1:00pm to 4:30pm
  • Can be completed in 16 months

Accelerated Cohort began in September 2009 at GW's Graduate Education Center, Arlington and will have a program completion date of March 2011.

The Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering (EMSE) programs in Arlington and Alexandria are designed to develop leaders for technically-oriented organizations and prepare them for the future.
